ดร. เอกพงษ์ร่วมก่อตั้งและดำรงตำแหน่งกรรมการบริษัท มีสเปซ เซล์ฟ สโตเรจ มาตั้งแต่ปี 2560 ควบคู่กับบทบาทประธานเจ้าหน้าที่ฝ่ายการเงินของ เอสซีจี เจดับเบิ้ลยูดี โลจิสติกส์ จำกัด ตั้งแต่ปี 2558 ด้วยพื้นฐานด้านวิศวกรรมและกฎหมายที่หาได้ยาก จบปริญญาเอกด้าน Telecommunications จาก AIT, วิศวกรรมไฟฟ้าเกียรตินิยมจากจุฬาฯ และ นิติศาสตร์เกียรตินิยมอันดับหนึ่งด้านกฎหมายธุรกิจและภาษีอากรจากจุฬาฯ ดร. เอกพงษ์นำมุมมองเชิงกลยุทธ์ และ การบริหารความเสี่ยงมาประยุกต์ใช้กับการขยายธุรกิจของ MeSpace โดยตรง ในบทบาท MD เขามีส่วนสำคัญในการตัดสินใจเชิงกลยุทธ์ของ MeSpace อาทิ การขยายสาขาแ ละ การเพิ่ม Phase พื้นที่ให้บริการในสาขาเดิม การตัดสินใจขยายธุรกิจสู่บริการ Luggage Storage และ การกำหนดมาตรฐานการให้บริการ โดยเฉพาะด้านความปลอดภัย นอกจาก MeSpace แล้ว ดร. เอกพงษ์ยังดำรงตำแหน่งกรรมการในบริษัทเครือ JWD Group ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับ logistics และ storage โดยตรงอีกหลายแห่ง รวมถึง บจก. เจวีเค อินเตอร์เนชั่นแนล มูฟเวอร์ ซึ่งสะท้อนความเข้าใจภาพรวมของอุตสาหกรรม storage และ logistics ในระดับภูมิภาค
